Between St Lawrence and Oistins

Along the Maxwell Coast Road, about 5 minutes east of Dover beach, you pass a public park. It looks like a site that used to have a building on it - and on closer inspection, it did, and was never quite cleared away. If you wander down though the Casuarina Trees, through the detritus of past picnics and abandoned bottles and tin cans, you will find an old concrete seat facing out to sea. The view is pleasant enough, and there is a small beach, strewn with building rubble. There is no path along the coast from here, and to continue the walk, you need to return to the Maxwell Coast Road.
