Harrismith Beach

North of Sam Lords beach, the path follows the cliff top, until about 15 minutes walk away, you reach the beautiful wreck that is Harrismith plantation house, which is perched at the top of a steep stone stairway, descending to Cave Bay.
This is one of the most isolated beaches on the island, and it has a true desert island feel to it. Bottom Bay, just to the North of it, is over-rated by comparison. There is no paved road leading to Harrismith, which perhaps accounts for its non-appearance in the standard guidebooks to the island.
