Inland till the next cove

This is an area that is undergoing rapid urbanisation, as is much of the land along this coast. Fortunately, the cliffs hide the blight. Barbados along the coast is a totally different island to the deteriorating situation elsewhere on the island. What was once a location of charm, is turning into a run down third rate version of American suburbia. Barbados is disappearing under a forest of concrete. It is losing its charm. This house, however, had something going for it, architecturally, unlike the majority of the overblown Holywoodesque creations that are going up all over the island like a rash of the pox.
